Saving you £££ by telling you exactly how much N is in your slurry
How much money is your slurry worth? That depends on how much nitrogen it contains, of course. But how do you find out - accurately? Well you can use tables and figures out of the text books, but they may not be right. Your slurry might contain more or less nitrogen than you think. You could pick and fix a figure, but you might be wrong to fix.
The Quantofix, though, will tell you precisely, easily and practically exactly what you need to know. A strange sounding, odd looking machine it may be, but there's few bits of kit on the market which will tell you how much nitrogen you've got in your slurry quite as accurately as this will.
And once you know you can tailor your fertiliser purchase and applications precisely. No more under-doing it so crop growth isn't quite what it should be, and certainly no over-doing it either. Think how environmentally and cheque- book friendly that would be at today's fertiliser prices!
And it's not too hard to work out how to do it either.
You simply fill a tube with water; pour some slurry into a bottle, add a bit more water, give it a shake, pour some reagent into another bottle, mix the reagents, shake it again and allow it to stand for a bit. The quantity of nitrogen can then be read off the calibrated tube, expressed in terms of available Ammonium Nitrogen in kgs per m³. If you multiply this figure by nine the quantity is expressed in units per 1000 gallons.
It really is that simple. And it doesn't cost much either - a Quantofix will normally set you back just £230, excluding VAT. With 34.5% nitrogen costing over £200 a tonne it doesn't take a mathematician to work out how quickly it will pay for itself.
Unfortunately we're not mathematicians. But we are ready and willing to sell you a Quantofix TODAY.
Thanks for your interest in the Quantofix.
